About the Project
What is Convivencia Housing Cooperative?
Convivencia is a proposed 14-hectare eco-wellness and continuing care retirement community in San Pablo City, Laguna. It is being planned around Filipino care, sustainable living, wellness, community connection, and cooperative participation.
Is Convivencia already operating?
No. Convivencia is still under development and is currently in the community-planning stage. The facilities shown on the website are proposed concepts and are not yet operational.
Where will Convivencia be located?
The proposed site is in Sto. Angel, San Pablo City, Laguna, Philippines. Near Kalibato Lake and overlooking the Mount Banahaw area. Final site and development details remain subject to official confirmation and approval.
What is the current stage of the project?
The project is currently at Stage 4: Community Planning.

When is the community expected to be completed?
Current planning materials show a proposed development period from 2026 to 2030. This is not a guaranteed completion date. The schedule may change depending on approvals, funding, engineering, permits, licensing, and construction conditions.
Are the images and masterplans final?
No. Architectural images, masterplans, maps, facilities, and development schedules shown on the website are conceptual. They remain subject to final planning, engineering, permits, regulatory approval, and change.
Will the community be open only to Filipino retirees?
Convivencia is primarily being planned for Filipino retirees, returning OFWs, non-resident Filipinos, and their families.
Community and Care
What living and care options are being planned?
The proposed community may include independent living, assisted living, and nursing or continuing-care services. Final services remain subject to planning, licensing, staffing, partnerships, and regulatory approval.
Will there be medical and wellness services?
The current concept includes a proposed Medical and Wellness Hub. It may include clinic spaces, nursing support, therapy and rehabilitation areas, wellness programs, health monitoring, and related services.
The exact facilities and services will depend on licensing, staffing, partnerships, and final approval.
What amenities are being considered?
Proposed amenities may include a clubhouse, activity rooms, gardens, walking trails, outdoor fitness areas, swimming or water-based wellness facilities, prayer and reflection spaces, therapeutic gardens, and community farming areas.
Final amenities remain subject to planning and approval.
What kind of community is Convivencia intended to be?
Convivencia is envisioned as a welcoming and supportive community focused on dignity, wellness, Filipino hospitality, active living, sustainability, compassionate care, and meaningful relationships.
Membership
Who will own and manage Convivencia?
The project is being developed around a proposed housing-cooperative model. Final ownership, governance, voting, and management arrangements will be determined by the cooperative’s official bylaws, policies, and legal documents.
Can someone become a social investor?
Yes. Interested individuals may request information about the proposed social-investment opportunity and attend an official orientation before making any decision.
