About Convivencia

Convivencia Housing Cooperative is a newly formed cooperative composed of seniors, OFWs and Non-resident Filipinos who own and manage the Convivencia Retirement Community.
Our flagship project is Convivencia Continuing Care Retirement Community, a 14-hectare eco-wellness retirement community in San Pablo City, Laguna – built on Filipino values, sustainability and shared ownership.
Our Story
The vision for Convivencia grew from the increasing need for quality, accessible, and compassionate retirement and long-term care, particularly for Overseas Filipinos and Filipino families who hope to spend their retirement years in the Philippines.
Through collaboration among committed organizations, professionals, and community partners, we are developing a model retirement community that reflects Filipino care, cooperation, environmental responsibility, and meaningful community life.

What Is a Cooperative?
A cooperative is an autonomous, member-owned organization where people voluntarily work together to meet shared economic, social, and cultural needs through a jointly owned and democratically controlled enterprise.
Unlike traditional businesses that primarily focus on maximizing profits for shareholders, a cooperative is owned and managed by its members. Members have an equal voice in decision-making through the principle of “one member, one vote,” regardless of the amount of capital contributed.
